Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

I agree with P1. Take the long view of your career, and a year here or there doesn’t matter (eg is timing of baby slows you down one year).
I had one as an M, one as I was an M being promoted to Assoc Partner, and one 3 years before making partner. The last one probably added a year to my promo timeline but I have already forgotten that.
Also keep in mind that babymaking isn’t totally under your control. You might say “ok now!” and then it takes anywhere from 1 month to year(s) to get pregnant. Our last took a little over a year, without any specific fertility issues, just nature and getting older.
You should have your child when the time is right for you and your SO. Each family has different dynamics and there pros and cons for every age range and level are different. It is hard regardless.
I had mine at 31. I made Partner at 34. I know a woman partner who had her baby the year she made Partner, some a few years after, a lot of women who had them when they were managers and senior managers.
Here’s a similar post with some different perspectives.

Contd - would be great to also hear if you had specific reasons (timing it after a promotion, or evaluating a partner track )
16!
Thank you so much! I find it hard placing a kid in the timeline anywhere regardless. I will turn 28 next year , on a fast track right now almost. Multiple ways to plan a kid but all of your perspective helps. Will definitely check out the other thread. Thanks!
