My question is: should I be honest about why I’m looking for a new job? Is it wrong to not share this info during my interviews? Is this situation going to affect my interview process somehow? Recently was giving interview for Business /Digital transformation position.

Interviewer - tell me business model of cred , how they earn

Me- umm , they get some commission from on cc partners, they get user data which they can use for there analysis and offer them customised products in future.

Interviewer - no no not that

Me - ok yeah they have a shop section also. They get paid for on boarding different vendors on their platform. Continued

After many years of doing purely corporate law, I recently moved inhouse to do structured finance. Honestly, I am in unknown territories. My boss also not patient about my re-learning process yet they knew from the interview that I know close to nothing about structured finance. I am 2 months into my 6 months probation period and I am worried that I might have bit more than I can chew. FYI - I am doing all I need to do to learn (books) but still struggling. I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but it is very to commit to actually accept a new job offer since I really do love my job. My only complaint is, the pay vs workload is very small. I’m a manager now and my property offered me a director position… but the salary is still low! To make six figures, it’ll take another 5-6 years to grind it out.

sigh* last week Saturday my s/o & I broke up after our 3 year relationship. & it really been affecting me negatively — not eating, autopilot mode, self isolation & diving deep into work.
