How much time do you give yourself after waking up in the morning to get ready and ‘sign in’ to work/leave for work? I can be out the door in 15 minites but like to take my time and usually take an hour.

Just me or does The Weekend sound terrible?

You ever known someone who just stopped working and cut all contact without notifying anyone? How long did they continue getting paid before someone realized?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but please don't go to tiny no name brand companies unless you get 1 or more of the following:
-the pay is significantly more, or perks like Remote
-minimum 1 level title bump
-high growth company that has strong leadership and clearly sounds like an epic disruptive idea, even to your grandma
-chance to work on niche skills to alter your career path

Otherwise, it's just not worth it. So much harder to establish value in an interview without the brand.

For all you Tax CPAs out there, with most of us being forced/told/requested to work from home should we now be classified as a “Statutory Employee”? There are tax benefits for being a statutory employee and at first glance it appears we would classify. Please, enlighten us with your knowledge if you understand this piece of the tax code

Starting to look for a part time nanny now we’re going back to office (3 days a week). Total newbs here and just starting the process. Hello, due to covid I moved in with my parents and was able to save some money to buy a house. My parents basement and garage were already full of my brother’s items ( Navy Guy) so I put my items in a storage unit. I am looking for a moving company that can get my items from the storage to new house. Any suggestions of good and reliable movers? I need the movers to load, unload and set up some furnitures.
