It does suck paying for the kit but imo the basic one was worth it and prepared me where I didn’t need to even use the manual. Might be worth checking to see if your firm reimbursed you for it, Deloitte does

Yes buy the system, find your weakest subject, then set up the multiple choice system by subject and work your way through. There’s also a 2021 % of test subject questions sheet available on the ACFE website so you know which sections has the highest percentage of that subsections and you can set up your studying that way. Also answer all questions and pass all 4 of practice tests with an 80%, then you can request for 35 CPE credits! Then take the actual exam and pass, if not, each part is $100 for the retake.
