I have a situation in front of me. I got an offer from small company or we could say startup company Uzio (pdt based) and my manager in current company didn't revert back with any retaining offer. It's been a month and 27 days left in np.
My dilemma is that my current team including reporting manager are very rude and not supportive. I don't want to work in this project. But if I join in that startup company, there's a risk as everyone is talking about recession, firing. Suggestions?

It’s sometimes tough figuring out retirement plans as a creative freelancer where financial conversations within my community are limited. I’m 35 and wish I had done everything sooner — backdoor Roth IRA, HSA, 401k etc. Better late than never I guess :)

Loan officer is saying it makes sense to borrow against my Roth IRA to get up to a 20% down payment. Is this a good idea?

Why do some MFs have super high minimums? Ex MSSGX - $5M min. Why wouldn’t I invest in PE with that kind of min?

Are there any personal brokerage platforms that allow you to allocate a % of future contributions to select funds/stocks? For example, if I contribute $1000 each month and want 50% to go to VTI and 50% to VOO, the brokerage will automatically make that allocation when I deposit the funds.

If you had $10k to invest, would you put it in a brokerage account and have your financial advisor pick what to invest in or would you buy 10k worth of I bonds since the interest rate is so high right now?

Am I wrong to put as much of a down payment down on my forever home instead of just 20% so I can have a lower payment each month? The houses my wife and I (with one child, growing to two soon) are looking at are in the 700k range or so in a LCOL area (likely more when we move). I’m originally from NYC and lived there my whole life until I was 30 when my husband and I left for his work.
