Hello fishies, I have got an offer from S&P for 30LPA with 8.5 YOE . The designation is software engineer and the role is for production support. Is it a good offer or should I renegotiate.

Have received joining date of may and my pregnancy is due in april and so I may be able to join only by august. What do i do ? Shall i inform the HR to extend the joining? (but I am afraid, I don't want to lose this opportunity) or I join now and then take an ML ? or I accept the offer letter now, try joining and worst case postpone in the end ?

HOA - doing something without approval.....was planning to change my windows without hoa approval but my neighbour snitched. I came clean to the hoa and now I need to go through a 2 mo approval process and they might not even approve my windows. I paid 7k for them. At what point do you draw the line on WLB? Working insane hours on a long/term project with what feels like no end in sight. It’s not sustainable but clearly expected. Could you get fired for drawing lines in the sand and saying (example) “come 8:30 every night I’m logging off”. That’s a 65 hour work week as-is but I currently am up until midnight working consistently. For context I’ve been rated as a strong performer consistently and am not new to the job so it’s not a lack of understanding.

Recently joined a project that’s been in flight for long time.
