Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

I wish I was you. I have bad anxiety but even a crumb of a chip of a quarter of generic Xanax (my doctor swore it wasn’t potent) *puts me on the ground.*
So I just end up wasting time having massive panic attacks, and then make a comeback with a vengeance after the worst is over/flight reflex yields and fight reflex turns up so high I can’t turn it down.
It’s a rough cycle.

Quite possibly lol. Least I know I have a buddy.
Oh this post gives me flashbacks. Please be careful OP. I had this exact same thing but I was taking klonopin. Started 1-2 days a week, then became every day, and then I needed it multiple times a day because I would feel so physically to the point of panic attacks, heart palpitations, hyperventilating….it was awful. Was taking as much as 5mg/day. I saw a psychiatrist who was also an addiction specialist and got off of it over a 4-6 month period but it made work impossible for so long, I was so dependent on it to feel normal-ish. Please take care of yourself and see a specialist who can closely monitor this. Other SNRI (Pristiq) and regular exercise and mindfulness helped me.
Take it when you need it. Sounds like you’re not overdoing it and abusing it so there’s no shame in helping you. Perhaps discuss with your therapist what you can do so that you can learn better coping mechanisms so you may not need it in the future. Personally, my life is so much better with Xanax and I use it only when my anxiety symptoms are unbearable.
I took it a couple of times but it put me in a slump so sticking to therapy/meditating.
