Intellectually? Or deal-wise? Regardless, yes.

It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten a new big deal on my plate, we’re mostly wrapping up things in the hopper. Times are a-changing!

like

Yes. My firms large deals that i work on are trickling in instead of overwhelming us. There are a lot of small deals kicking around, but i anticipate a slow next few months. I Intend to make the best of it by enjoying the holidays for a change.

Slower, but consistent. Also annoyingly busy with bottom of the barrel straggler transactions that just won’t close or die.

like

Yep. My deal volume is extremely low & I expect that to stick for the next few months. It seems I’ll actually get to take the 4 day weekend for thanksgiving this year - which sounds amazing.

Yes, haven’t seen a new deal come across in a month or so and now wrapping up all open deals. Plan to enjoy the holidays and wait until January to start panicking.

Currently unemployed due to the state of the market in my area. Our office laid off two people in two months. I was the lead processor with 22 years experience. Now the only ones left have three years or less in the business! Sad times for our industry!

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Should I stay in my role a bit longer to gain experience or I am not able to find remote or hybrid matching my profile. Your advice and comments are much appreciated.

So I accepted an offer back in mid March but I didn’t negotiate it up and now I’m regretting it, because apparently you’re supposed to. I got a much higher salary than expected and a sign on bonus, and it’s been a while since I accepted the offer, and the start date is later this year…. Is it too late to ask for a bit more though? If not, how do I go about it?

Hello, any referrals for test lead in CGI? I also have Canada PR

Hello PwC AC Friends,

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

So, I just joined a startup. No processes, no clear strategy, just one goal: selling. Getting leads. When ever I try to build a strategy, they (founders) swamp me with blablabla stories and not a single action plan. Is this the usual at startups? Also,no real company culture. At all. No HR. I am reaaaally struggling to get a sense of belonging here. What should I expect?? Tia
