Anyone fly Norse from east coast to Europe? How was the experience? Is it worth the cost saving

Great airline. I flew the other way London to New York. Honestly zero issues. Just make sure the luggage fits their sizes cos they make every one put their in the sizer thing. But very smooth overall.

I’ve done it and had zero problems but yes they are very strict on luggage size and no online in app check in so you have to go to the counter to check in.

like

No app, frequent flier program, bring your own food, and adhere strictly to the baggage rules. They did make us put our bags in the sizers, and their scale at JFK weighed my bag as 3/4 pounds heavier than my brand new scale at home. Do NOT think you can go over if one person (child) in your group doesn’t bring a bag. I saw a family try that unsuccessfully. The baggage PER PERSON is strictly enforced. The key drawback to a small airline is that it if your plane has a mechanical (or other) issue, the fleet isn’t big enough to find another plane on short notice. A bigger airline can juggle you onto another plane or flight. So consider that if you’re on a tight schedule. I would fly Norse again but my spouse isn’t a fan, in part because he prefers Newark to JFK.

I’ve had a couple of great experiences. Their upgrades are very reasonably priced. As with any low cost airline, just familiarize yourself with their rules and make sure you comply, and you won’t have any issues

Totally fine! Bring your own food and water but otherwise no complaints

like

Worth it, no frills airline. Few things - no online check-in so waiting in line can take time, very strict with both carry on and check-in luggage (both size and weight limits), bring your own food (water, blanket/pillow if you need them)

Premium is great. Coach is kind of tight if you’re tall or fat.

it's fine but they are VERY strict with luggage restrictions and the personal item sizer is miniscule

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
