What do you think will be the impact of this rapid hiring for MBB? MBB is hiring so rapidly. When it cools down, do you think MBB will realize they over hired? Will it become harder for associates (post MBA) to get promoted? Will it become more competitive for Associates to get staffed on projects they want to be on? Are you looking for strategy or MBB?
BAH, Big 4 has strategy projects too , so maybe start there.
Because BAH federal consulting is a couple steps removed from the candidates MBB hires from. Just trying to be realistic for OP
@op Big 4 here go big go MBB.

Haha thanks!! Trying to shoot for the stars
The move is possible (I made it), but it isn’t easy. You’ve clearly articulated what you want out of the move, but now you have to articulate the value that you’ll bring to them.
Are you looking to make a switch from federal consulting to federal MBB? That’s possible, but there just aren’t that many openings out there. If you have significant relevant experience at a desirable client, that can help.
If you’re looking to make the double switch into MBB private sector, that’s harder, and would likely require an MBA from a top MBA feeder program where MBB recruits.

This is really solid advice. Would love to connect and discuss further.
I've been looking into potentially doing an MBA - I have a Masters in Finance but don't know if I want to take on the additional debt of an MBA. Might be worth it though.
