What are some of the best books you’ve read about people and investing? Such as dealing with people (business psychology almost) and then investing (real estate more specifically)!

I am looking for books that give practical advice, not just big picture theory and motivation.

Starting at EY tomorrow. I know it shouldn’t bug me, but not a single member of my team has reached out. In fact... I don’t even know who is on my team or who I’m reporting to- that info was left blank in my pre-hire onboarding. Wildly different than when I joined KPMG. Not feeling very welcomed at all and worried I made a mistake with the switch. Just wanted to vent my anxiety, ty.

FBar related tax question if you have any expertise/insight. - have transferred all my savings for parents until now.
- A few (now) inactive bank accounts outside the US - 60k. These accounts were not included/ declared in my FBAR filing, but they still have my name on the account. Is it fine to keep these accounts as is or should I take my name off them?

Hey everyone, my fiance recently graduated university and is working as a credit risk analyst but she wants to break into sales (preferably tech sales). Every sales or account executive position we look at LinkedIn seems to want at least 5+ years of experience in sales so I'm wondering what exactly is an entry level position for sales? She's worked two years in best buy as a sales associate but can she really leverage that? Looking for advice

I've been in multiple sales roles over the past decade and am excited for my first official award of being a top performing sales rep in 2021 and winning an all-inclusive sales trip to enjoy with colleagues!!! Hi Fishbowl Friends! I’m looking in to starting a masters program in 2023. Background on me - I’ve been in HR for a little over 4 years now and earned my SHRM-CP last spring. Looking for more ways to improve.

Would you recommend any specific schools or master programs? I’m in Tampa, FL but I know most programs are remote these days. :)

Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run

How much handholding is enough in consulting?

My client has 2 SMEs that were blindsided by being pulled into testing the system without any experience in it, it has required a lot effort ramping them up to try and get them up to speed.

One is doing fine but the other is lagging, I have a ton of things to do on top of 'training' them to get them to a good place.

I've tried to do as much handholding as I can, but I'm wondering how much is enough.

How do you actually, logistically go from Sr SDR to AE- do you have to start in Growth/Mid Mkt? I've only ever worked Enterprise and would like to keep it that way.

SHRM vs HRCI? I haven’t heard as much on HRCI HR Management certification. Do people ever get both? Does help to even have the certification from HRCI?

In this field, when choosing a masters degree program is it more beneficial to get a degree in Human Resources to further my knowledge in HR (my undergraduate degree is in Economics) , an MBA, or Data Science Degree due to the fact that HR is becoming more data driven as well as get a PHR / SHRM-CP certification?

Think people in IB would make good/successful entrepreneurs? It sounds appealing to me, but I don't think I personally am cut out for it.
