A. We couldn't find the recruiter or hiring managers name so we just address it as Hello, or Dear (agency).
B. We don't have an extremely creative opening.

Does anyone feel they interview poorly because of their nerves, even if you prepare prior to the interview and find good examples of your skills and experience to match the role requirements? My nerves always get the best of me and I tend to ramble when I’m nervous. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and members of the team that the role would be working with and I feel like I shot myself in the foot a few times. Does anyone have any tips to get past their nerves in the interview?

I had resigned from a job a few weeks ago. I’m entitled to 2 weeks (10 days) of vacation pay. I used 1.5 since January 1st. Will I be paid out the vacation pay that I earned from Jan-June, or the full 8.5 days that I would’ve had left?

What is a fair salary/hourly for a kitchen manager in Tampa FL? Small kitchen with 3 to 4 kitchen assistants. Kitchen is open 50 hours a week. Manager has full creative license and has no one above them in the chain of command outside of owners.

Recruiters, have you ever had someone accept an offer letter and before they started “quit” to go somewhere else they found out they got accepted? Is this a common occurrence?

Have an old colleague that volunteered me as a reference without asking ahead of time and lied about the way we interacted. She said I was her direct report which is a massive lie. This person then proceeded to try to derail my day by asking me to hop on an urgent call to fabricate the reference I’m supposed to give them. I’m angry but it’s also hard times. Someone pls be the voice of reason and tell me how you’d react?

Hey Recruiters - if someone is interviewing for a role, and the team says “we really like them but need to do our due diligence and talk to some more candidates” you can tell that to the candidate! That’s reasonable! Don’t just ghost them for two weeks after five great interviews! UGH.

You know when you’re talking to a prospect and you ask, “So, why are you looking to leave?” You know the answer is probably because it sucks there and they’re sick of it. But what is best answer ?

I received 2 competing offers for two very different types of agencies. The first one is a very large agency, and I was offered a management position at $80,000. The second is a midsized agency in DTC/Ecomm and they offered me an associate position at $70,000 (negotiated from $65,000). Is there a way for me to potentially negotiate a manager level position at the DTC agency? I really want to work there because of the culture, but I’m looking for a manager level position.
