Anyone from the countries on the immigrant visa ban list get their PERM approved recently? My PERM (EB2) just got approved and I was wondering if my I-140 will get denied or put to the side because I’m from a country on the ban list. Or is it I-485 that will be affected because of the ban or both?

My employer is planning to file I-140 using premium processing so I guess I’ll find out soon after but just wanted to check here first.

I'm in Oklahoma, and an avid Aldi shopper. Prior to COVID, my favorite merlot was routinely stocked there - under $6 a bottle and better than many $30 bottles I've had. It was by Burlwood Cellars. Sadly, supply chain issues have apparently done a number on Aldi's wine selection and it's not carried there anymore. I've searched high and low for a comparable merlot, but to no avail. My company filed an AOS to extend my visa and change it from L1B to L1A. I have all the prereqs being a manager both in my country before entering the US and after. Last Friday I received a message saying USCIS is sending me an RFE. Can anyone tell me based on experience what type of evidence they could be requesting?

Tax question: my SM changed my hours with a location I never worked at, from 2020. When I asked for a change, he is hesitant since it’s a long process. Would it cause any issue on visa if I filed a tax to a state I never worked in?

Wanted to understand what happens in FAANG companies if H-1b visa runs out and there is no I-140 in place to extend visa beyond 6 years. Do they transfer the employee to a non-US office E.g. Canada? Does anyone here been through this scenario?
