It was very painful. Mostly executives reading from scripts written for them by underlings.

Michael Larson (interim CEO) read from a script that talked about change being painful.

Michele Markus and crew took a victory lap for the Novartis Super Bowl commercial that was developed outside of OHG. They fell all over themselves for 20 minutes before finally showing the spot, which was good work but could easily speak for itself.

Somebody named Jessica read from a slide that didn’t say anything meaningful. No idea what any of that meant.

Some guy no one knows talked about AI solutions that we don’t have access to and can’t talk about. Should have added a meme- “the best thing about Omni AI, is that we don’t talk about Omni AI.”

Then Larson read from a script again. Had the audacity to say/read that they value talent.

Despite being called a “Town Hall” there was zero interaction with staff. No opportunity to submit questions. No effort to address the things that are actually on people’s mind.

Ugh. I used to twiddle my thumbs that week at S&H. One year we went to movies. It was right down the block. Be gone from 11:45 to 2:15. No one noticed. No one was there.

I joined a new consulting firm and have been here for 6 months. Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies. My current TC is 95k. Is it worth making the jump if the offer is north of 110k? Anything I should look out for? The client and coworkers were all nice, but I remember being stressed on the project due to limited resources.
