Anyone have in person kick offs soon? I’m a remote worker going to SKO in a few weeks and starting to question all concepts of work wear. Would love to hear what others are planning. Can’t decide if I should wear heels (since we will be sitting most of the day in sessions) or how dressed up to be. It will be the first time meeting executives since joining.

Business casual usually works & a boot or shoe with a kitten heel for comfort. What’s the company culture. I look at that as well. Good luck.

I always err on the side of overdressed. My go-to is a work dress with a shawl or blazer, or nice work pants with a pop of color as the blazer (e.g., black pants with a black blouse and a red blazer).

Heels or flats - it doesn’t matter, as long as they are professional, in my opinion.

Hi Fishes,

In my offer i see this line " We may require you to travel to other locations including in India and internationally." ,however in my earlier post I came to know that there are no travel opportunities in Telstra .Does it mean in the future I can negotiate with my manager for the travel?

Is this legal?
After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!

Ive accepted an offer going from a SM role to M role at EY in the CCas team , London office. Can anyone confirm how often one needs to come into the office, as my commute is from Hampshire . In my current role I rarely go to the office, i.e once every few months (also in London) and am considering backing out due to the additional commuting cost and less flexible work life balance.

CW salary at FB/Meta within the Creative X group? I keep seeing posts for copywriter positions that require 6 years of experience so I’m assuming even though they call it copywriter it’s more in line with senior / ACD agency salary.

My boss (atty) is so disorganized! I’ve been with him 6 months and he’s having a hard time delegating, sharing info and managing deadlines. I’ve organized the caseload to manage the deadlines. He says he wants me to help with discovery but when I offer to start on one, he says he needs to do it. (Since he might have to present as evidence) When I give him deadlines and ask for the docs he says he’ll get to it. It’s a small 1 man firm, and I’m the first assistant besides his wife. Any advice?
