Bain & Company For those interviewing at Bain in London for senior hire roles, has the recruitment process been slow for you? Mine has been quite slow - it has been taking days to receive feedback and sometimes weeks to schedule follow up rounds. Just wondering if others are facing the same. Thanks!

Hey friends, I've been in sales for over ten years in retail/ hospitality.
I'm focusing my efforts to make a switch into tech sales and id like to work for AWS.
I completed a tech sales bootcamp and have purchased a couple books on sales methodology, more so enhancing sales + active listening skills.
If anybody would be willing to chat! I'd love more insight on roles Within AWS tech sales.
Care for a quick dm chat?
Is anyone else in franchise sales? I’m new sales (4 months in) and struggling to connect with prospects and fill my pipeline. Any advice would be helpful.
Does anyone here use LinkedIn for prospecting, and have success with it? I have Premium, and I send dozens of messages per week, and if I’m lucky one person will respond. And most of the people I message work for companies that are already purchasing from us, but there’s no business relationship. Super frustrating.
The other question is: how many of you receive unsolicited messages on LinkedIn and just ignore them?
Sorry to waste a post like this, but can you like this message for me so I can DM people?? Thank you!!

What is the going rate for enterprise national account managers/salespeople? I work at a FAANG and make a 120K base and cleared 280K last year total comp (commission, RSUs, 401(k)). I make so much more than my last job at a non tech company, that I always assumed I was making a ton. But I am curious how this compares to other tech companies. Been here 6 years.

hi everyone, what are some questions you normally ask your interviewer?
i’ve got a couple in mind, but just want to pick your brain and see what everyone else asks!
Early stage startup or startup in the process of being acquired by a big tech giant. . .
Both with a similar comp structure...
Early stage startup includes a higher quota, 10% commission on closed business, and series A stock equating to roughly 0.15% ownership in company...
Which one do you take, and why?
I was recently let go from my job of 7 years with an organic egg company. We were purchased by private equity and I was the first to be let go by the new SVP of Sales. I worked my way up from Sales Admin to Trade Marketing Manager in a 5 year span. It’s been over a month and I don’t have any solid leads for a new role. I’m looking for a role in Category Management, Trade Management or just Sales in general. I am very competent and have valid credentials. Any help is appreciated.
I am starting a new position as an SDR at LinkedIn and thus signing a new contract. It’s an entry-level position but I have already worked in the company for some time. Would you recommend negotiating the offer or SDR entry-level positions are usually not negotiable?

How long do you spend on those? Shouldn't take that long...
Huge waste of time. No one reads them, no one cares what they say. So many times I've wondered if I could get away with writing something totally ridiculous because I know no one is reading them.
Self reviews are the worst, honestly
I agree, hundred percent. Self-reviews are somehow outdated. Do they even read those?
