Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

Thoughts on what to get wife for her bday. Shes turning 30 and because of covid we cant do a big birthday bash like we were planning. She also got laid off b.c of Covid and has been in a bit of a rut and I want to make her feel better and have a great birthday. Shes an amazing wife and mom and I want her to have a great birthday. How do women prefer to be turned down if the guy they’re pursuing is not interested. I know men have the capacity to deal with rejection poorly, and I’m not suggesting otherwise. But in my anecdotal experience , women take the gentle “no thanks, not interested” poorly.
