Hi Everyone, Urgent Help!! 2.2 YOE Java Developer having 7.9 LPA Larsen & Toubro Infotech
Cognizant offered 'PA' role with 10.8 LPA.
Now 5 days left in my NP and a startup has offered 13+1 LPA.
I tried to counter CTS (looking stability factor) they are saying "we have already offered you max CTC so not able to match up your expectation."
What should I do now? Ask to upgrade to 'Associate' role having 2.2 YOE or negotiate my CTC with them?
TIA

STAY AWAY. Interviewed with them in undergrad, they’re not consulting by a long shot, they’re an “expert network” model. You basically work across one of three domains, banking, PE, or consulting. Some PE firm will come to you asking for info in a niche market, and it’s your job to reach out to experts in that market by googling linkedin, and trying to connect the firm with an expert in the market they want to invest in or find more information about.
They lure you in with kegs in the office and Moët giveaways for analyst of the quarter, but screw your with cost of living and ‘free lunches’ aka you have to sign up for them and pay $150 a month.
Entry level pay is $60K, with a potential for bonus of up to 100% of your base. However, only one analyst gets the total bonus each year.
They’re snake oil salesman. Stay away
I remember looking at them in undergrad, pretty sure the pay is well below consulting
Yeah the base pay average for managers is 82.5k and they have offices in nyc and SF. woof
Ugh oof. How can they afford to pay so low while Recruiting at Ivy?
Do people from Ivy League schools work there? You’re basically just connecting clients with their “industry experts”. Idk seems kinda boring
