Anyone know how the culture is at the EY LA office? What are the hours like and work/life balance?

Hi everybody just want to share something.
I was the 2021 best ADR of all CEU in my company, got a promotion as account executive and in the first 7 month I’ve been between the 3 best sales of the team (12 people). Got back from 2 weeks of holidays and a month of sick leave I’m a bit demotivated by the culture of always been closing, always pushing etc.. I feel like I’m a bit tired. Probably I need a new experience or I don’t like the job anymore.. Anyone been in this situation? Any advice?

I’ve been living in the UK for 5 years now - and I’m growing out of the whole drinking culture. Whenever I have friends from abroad visiting they’re shocked when they discover how much ppl drink. I’m no longer interested in going « out out » - but my partner is a big drinker (so are his friends). It’s making me uncomfortable at times. Every social activity here seems to have alcohol involved, and it’s making me question whether I want to stay in the UK.

1st mahine mai hi work life balance k L***e lag gaye hai. Team members are attending calls at 10-11PM when they start working at 10. I was planning to say No to late night calls but the culture is already bad here and if I say no to it, I'll be the villian.

How do you keep doing it every single brief? It’s hard enough coming up with great ideas but to have to fight tooth and nail to preserve some semblance of what you pitched (and they bought) every single time? Convincing everyone, every day is literally draining me to the point of just not caring anymore. I was at a big four for almost two years. Left as an experienced associate. Have worked in industry now for a little over three years. Still haven’t even made it to senior. While I see former co-workers at manager or above. I feel as though my peers might as well be in another universe and I’ve been left in the dust. What would you suggest I do in this situation?
