Is my comp fair for a I/O Psych Master’s degree? I came in with about 1.5 YoE and started as a HC Consultant at 85k with 3k bonus. My new comp after 6 mos is 91.6k (w/AIP it will be around 96k at the end of the year). After talking with a few new consultants who worked here as interns (2-3 years) and don’t have grad degrees they are making around $96k BEFORE the adjustment.

Shouldn’t my grad degree be worth more? Let me know if I’m over thinking it!

I recently got a promotion in my company to work as a Junior CSR in Commercial Lines but I also got a job offer elsewhere to work in the entertainment insurance industry as an Associate. I got the RIBO license in January. Please, I am looking for ideas to motivate a virtual class. We want to set up a rewards program. However, we don’t want to reward for what the are supposed to complete. We’re looking for above and beyond. Example; helping a fellow student with technical support. We also thought of homework passes & lunch with a teacher, because we are a virtual school independent study program. We see students for a short amount of time on zoom. It takes a lot of work to set up the videos and lessons.

Thoughts on giving your two + weeks notice after you’ve been told you’re receiving a bonus (and it would actually be paid while you’re still at your current firm just after you’ve told them you’re leaving)? Or does everyone just wait until their bonus actually hits their bank account? Being able to give my two weeks early/mid December would be a lot better for me but don’t want to jeopardize not getting my bonus (which comes usually 3rd week of December).
