Yea but they could do that by greater incentives when selling. Not all industries are equal

Bench is still deep, especially with Strategy.

I wanna hear this!!! 😃

I bounced from consulting to Jr. PdM at large startup (500 employees) in NYC. Tired of consulting, and my goal is to land PdM at big tech. I took a fairly large paycut.

Another consulting firm I applied last year reached out with an offer, and a significant raise from where I'm at now. 90>140.

I feel like this may move me further from my goal, but feel like the money is significant. 2.5 YOE. Any advice?

Current salary is 120K, salary for next year could jump to $140k+ given promotion to manager.

Does it make sense to target 130-145k for exits into roles below manager or should I be waiting for manager opportunities?

Hey D's Joined last year July as consultant. Promotion year is 2023. Rating - Client Strong, Metric - Commensurate. Was not considered for standardization saying my salary is on the upper side. Anything to expect in the hike? If yes whats the range. Asking this because i see a lot of points around saying it depends on current ctc as well.. Current Sal 18.5 lpa

Any thoughts

I had a previous offer through which i tried negotiating with D and got 10k retention bonus with 2 year bond but no pay raise.

Hey!

A few months ago I made a post about salary negotiations during my perf cycle.

I received a lot of wonderful advice from so many people. I was also able to 'research' and look at some other related posts talking about the same topic. All that to say, is because of your advice, I had the resources to negotiate my salary and as a result also received a promotion.

Just wanted to say thank you all, and to remember to always advocate for yourself!

I have 9.5 years of experience and a Manager at EY. Now I got an offer from Accenturr as Manager CS&S team. What is an appropriate CTC to ask for ?
I haven't received my Manager mid year promotion letter and hike yet.
Please help. Having a hard time negotiating.

Senior Producers- how long were you in this role before being promoted? And what aspects of the job were you excelling in before getting said promotion.

I grew up in a family that doesn’t really resolve conflict. We make passive aggressive comments or just brush it under the rug because it always blows up into a fight. How do you bring up conflict/raise issues in a relationship or even during dating? I notice guys will ignore a message or try to make a joke to avoid addressing something and I don’t want to nag by bringing it up again, so I end up feeling ignored a lot until I resent them. What’s the best way to do this?

kind of just feeling defeated and unhappy here… Vialto seems messy and I’m just not feeling it anymore. It’s a bummer because I was at a big 4 for the structure… I never wanted to be part of a startup. then PwC conveniently made an investment in their people for around the same amount of money that they sold our group for? I have FOMO and I don’t know if I want to stick around with Vialto anymore :(

Sometimes I feel our work is pointless because auditing is so subjective that another firm can come in and issue the opposite opinion using the same people and evidence. Anyone else feel that way?

When jumping to the big 3 will they ask your gpa even if it’s been several years? I networked my ass of to work for offers at big 4, was not sure if gpa would still be neede, I went to a tier 2 school
