Ey work life balance
I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.

Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

Wake up early to go to the gym
For during the travel week: i think it’s very helpful to have at least one solo night a week, where you leave the client, get dinner yourself, and work from the hotel room or goof off. Navigating team dinners and late nights can be a lot, so I make sure to plan for some recharge time each week I generally like to do those on Mondays or tuesdays and then grind out the rest of the week if need be! I also like to try to unplug for one of the flights so I have built in me-time during one of the travel days. Also, expectation management is key here: you’re traveling to do work for four days, so work is going to take up most of your time. Find pockets of an hour or two where you can to focus on any hobbies or relaxation activities. (Needless to say, find some hobbies that you can fit in your carry-on!!) Also, most teams are very receptive to you signing off to go to the gym - so that can be a good way to bake in some non-work time.
For Fridays: do not go into the office (unless you have friends there) and sign off by 6pm if you can!! Everyone else is just as tired as you are and your time at home is valuable!
I also like to fill up my weekends with as many social plans as I can. It makes coming home feel even better and helps me keep my social life and relationship in balance with my work-loaded travel week. Especially if you live in a city, there’s always plenty to do and plenty of friends to see, so make sure you take advantage of that when you can!
Sign off by 6pm Friday’s?!? Damn, if I work till 4-5 I’m pissed (and so is the wife.)
