Anyone open for a chat? First year into consulting and i am super stressed and full of anxiety. Dont know how to navigate, feel like my brain has just stopped working under pressure. Are these "normal feelings" in the first year? Or is this a sign to think of other careers paths? I genuinely find the work is interesting, however the unnecessary pressure is making me think other wise. Would appreciate if anyone can share their experience andhow they go through stronger and better.

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.
