After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Better use of money is to invest in a place near Lake Anna or other NC lakes like Gaston - better boating waters (and cheaper) than the Potomac.
Awesome color n good to know ty!
For a 30-35’ it’s ~$700/mo on an annual lease or ~$1,200/mo for a 6mo lease April - Sept
Good point will take a look into tbat
Nah but if you do find one hit us up and we’ll bring the white claws
no clue, but I did see this at the wharf the other night and felt poor
…ok, ASSOCIATE
I know several pe associates who are bringing in close to half a mil TC. Big law associates also rake 250 - 550 depending on tenure. Just bc your title isn’t bringing in $$$ at your firm doesn’t mean the same is true elsewhere :)
Boats are bad investments. Join a charter club instead
They’re horrible investments, but they can be worth it if you dedicate time. For me, I didn’t invest, I purchased - I knew damn well that money was never going to be recouped. But I hit the water as much as I can. I’d say really reflect on how much time you’ll spend on the boat bc whatever the annual price you think you’ll pay, triple it
Lol also wasn’t looking for personal finance 101 more looking for the people WITH boats
Joe Manchin.
Naw - I’m poor
Do the boat club. DC is not a great value for what you pay for the boat. Few interesting places to go, most aren’t connected. Club will get you access to Annapolis and Baltimore boats (like freedom boat club - there are at least two big national ones) and potentially national ones depending on your club.
Way more bang for your buck that way. Boats on the Potomac are zzz. Only really good for fireworks shows. Annapolis and Baltimore are a blast though.
Rates vary wildly based on your boat size, the location, etc so I can’t tell you too much there.
Not worth it…it’s a money suck, especially with fuel prices now.
Ask Joe Manchin
There is a vibrant livaboard community at the SW Waterfront. A.K.A. the Wharf, where you can legally live full time, be a DC resident and have it also be your floating condo. The upper Potomac is fully fresh water, with less maintence and yet it is still navigable to anywhere in the world. (And yes we have boats here) Costs are per foot range based on the marina amenities, 12-30 per foot per month, plus electric. If you have a boat and are looking for a livaboard slip, or want live aboard instead of an apartment or condo, feel free reach out.
