What’s the worst case scenario? It fails, and you have to go back to Deloitte? And you spent 2-4 years working on something you could be proud of with your friend?

Sometimes it is that simple I suppose. Thanks!
It’s late and just deliberating. A buddy who has secured $2 million in funding, has patents, is building out his app, etc. just asked me to come and be his de facto CEO/CFO bc he has no clue how to run the business side. I love the idea and the role.
But it’s risky like all startups. Could have legal battles, etc. When compared to the stability of what we do, how can you ever get comfortable leaving?!!?? That doesn’t even bring in the self doubt I think all of us my age (26 year old SC) deal with - how do I know if id even be able to do it or if I just ruin it
Anyways just rambling. Would appreciate any perspective or thoughts from anyone who is or was in a similar position
Hmm what’s your industry/practice?
Strategic Risk / Crisis Management - Advisory. Banking and Securities but have done projects in TMT, Hospitality and Healthcare
2mil is a fair bit of runway, even working a failed startup will teach you so much. I'd do it
