I have started my career in SaaS sales and currently work ex of just 1.5 years. I'm confused that to grow, should I start searching for an SDR role in an early stage startup or look for an MNC? I feel my growth in current role has been shunted and going nowhere
All of my peers got promoted except me. I have been rated highly for 2 straight years. Management couldn’t give me a reason as to why I didn’t get promoted. What should I do?
Should I leave?
If you’re leaving for another Big 4, does EY pay you for the 2 weeks you would give? My understanding is as soon as you let them know it’s another Big 4, they ask you to leave within an hour or so.
Hi is anyone willing to explain to me what HR Strategy entails for an associate? Are hours long? Work stressful? How’re the exit ops?
Anyone know any really good tax manager opportunities near a conservative city in Florida?
Does anybody know if expenses incurred in obtaining other licenses (i.e. CFE) are reimbursable?
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
Is there any resources someone can point me to about the potential legal issues and more information from an HR perspective about contingent employees (temps, contract workers, part-time workers) versus normal FTE’s?
I’m working on a project for an HR class and finding good sources with real evidence about this from SHRM and news publications has been rough. Thanks!
I’m trying to get certified for Workday HCM but it seems impossible when you don’t work with a company that uses this system. Any ideas of how I can get my foot in the door? Any other HCM systems that offer career-developing certs?
Im a BDR at a large medtech vendor that expanded into SaaS complimenting our existing smart devices at hospitals. Sales cycles are long in this industry (min 12mo), but seems our value-add platform is so new to market that it’s taking longer (16-24+mo). I’ve been here for over 6mo and support 3 AE’s with zero pipeline and wins, despite meeting my own metrics to get meetings. Is this complex environment usual for enterprise software sales? Not sure if I’m hurting my new sales career by staying.
My husband does not have a degree but immense sales experience. He has been in sales in the food and beverage industry for about 10 years now and wants to get into tech. I am in tech and have a degree so unsure if he needs a degree to get a sales role? So many places are quick to turn away great candidates because of schooling even if their experience surely qualifies them. Anyone have experience or know if their company requires a BA for sales roles?
Is anybody else having a really difficult time hiring for employees to work in the office full-time? My boss is against working remotely or offering a hybrid option. I’ve never had such a hard time filling roles. This includes finding a new in-house recruiter.
I’d like to be prepared for the initial phone screen convo, which will only last 20-30 minutes. The JD shows the salary range as 110-130(USD) commensurate with experience, but I’m happy to land anywhere in that range—yet I don’t think it’s good to disclose that. How can I tactfully still talk to the recruiter about landing closer to 130? Not trying to be greedy, but certainly aiming high!
Currently have about close to 3 years of end to end HR business partnering experience under my belt. Any tips on what's needed for me to better position myself for a consultancy role in the future? Any thoughts and inputs really appreciated!
Does anyone have a name for what I'm looking for? Essentially, I'm looking for a resource to give to clients that really need to assess their current benefits and pay structure (and pay equity) in comparison to other organizations in the market and to provide the results and a roadmap of how to get where they need to be in order to retain and attract talent. Something like an HR Turnaround Consultant but I'm sure there is a better name?
Women partners that talk down to other women suck
How do you handle a toxic leader in dictatorship environment? A leader that cannot take feedback, but instead manipulate you and yell at you for not “knowing your audience”. Oh and the company is owned by himself and his wife.
I have a new job and I spend a lot of time in sales force and JDE.
I despise the fact that IT won't let us customize uploads and the fact that in salesforce everything must be done line by line.(very clicky)
It leaves little room for automation and building efficiency to save time. I'm being paid decent however I fee like the value I can bring will be little to none.
The only thing I can think of is automating clicks with Python.
Random question. I’ve been wanting to replace all the towels in my house to something nicer. Not super fancy but something of good quality and visual appeal. Where should I go to look for good towels? I learned from experience Target towels don’t last and get rough soon. There are many D2C brands but don’t know which ones are good. Would appreciate recommendations for specific brands, deals, or sites. TIA!
Here's an update re the matchmaking as promised - one (potential) match has been made! 😜😄
But not enough profiles to create more matches 🤷🏻♀️. There are some great candidates waiting to be matched tho but more submissions are needed.

I’m gay and I’m tired of seeing every brand on my LinkedIn and Instagram feed with a rainbow logo, posting about Pride.
Do you think gay bottoms are more codependent? Most of my gay friends that are/were in a toxic relationship are bottoms (100%). I wonder if this happens cause they are afraid to spend the rest of their lives alone as a bottom.
