I clerked right after law school and I’ve been working in BigLaw since (last 3 years). I’ve always thought career clerking for the right judge would be incredible and I may have the opportunity to do so in the next year. Has anyone gone from BL to career clerk? I’m 23 and independent. Working full time and studying full time is taking a serious toll on my mental health. I’m always tired, unmotivated, depressed, sometimes angry at my life, and I don’t know what to do. I’m in my sophomore year. I also don’t work in the field that I’m studying (computer science) because I’m always rejected without an interview, which is another aggravating factor for me. It’s hard to have time to work on personal projects to make my portfolio more attractive.
