I always tell people to go ask in person if you can fill out an application. It really does make a big difference. I think it shows a manager that you really want to work.
Yes, I feel like it’s so much better when you go in person!
I can see the in person approach working out better just because a manager in the store is more in touch with what's needed. If an application submitted online gets sent to wherever it needs to go it might fall through the cracks somewhere along the way. When you think of that, it makes more sense to show up in person.

I think that was just luck in this situation. I think so many things have transition to being done online, I think online applications directly through the companies website is the best bet.
