You pick things up and put them down
IT Advisory is a real group, actually. They're in risk consulting, but mainly do SOX and audit work.
Thanks K3. It helps to know it is equivalent to SM in Deloitte Consulting. Does KPMG have an actual SM position as well?
Not the same as SM...
Same as SM at D. Similar role - sell more, integration/PM roles.
You need to ask them about what the role is obviously. There's no such group as IT Advisory. CIO Advisory is closest and they, as you might imagine, advise on things a CIO cares about, eg how to integrate cyber, mobile, whatever capability in a way that provides positive ROI. Targets are probably too proprietary to share in this forum but your recruiter will tell you. FWIW I like the CIO Advisory folks I work with and think they are a strong practice.
Thanks K1 and K2. It is CIO advisory from what I gather
Should be called IT Audit. They are advisory because they do external and internal audit.
Lol thanks K2, I learned something new. They definitely need to change their name if it's about risk or sox but what else is new with oddly named groups
Lead and help sell major programs. Key in D2D delivery and staff development. Same as Sr. manager at Deloitte.
Senior mgr is Director at KPMG. You should totally ask the service line. IT advisory is like a umbrella group under which so many things fall.
How is it not in line with SM? I know Managers here who joined as Manager at D, and up for SM following year.
