Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

97k is pretty darn high for a Tech Consultant honestly.
Ok time to move out then.. most of my frnds in the industry working on same technology are making 120K in other companies!
No it could be that you are already higher in your band (not that I know what that yours is) but that might be a reason
OP my salary is similar to yours and I got a whooping 0% raise so I'd take your almost 1% if you want to trade
0.82%. That ridiculous. Was your salary already much higher than your peers?
No I am experienced hire.. completed 2 years at level 9
Your salary is definitely high lol
I'm an Analyst at 60k. A few friends of mine are SAs at 75-85k. Most of the Consultants on my team make mid 80s to mid 90s.
@OP You are def on the high end. Newly promoted TC managers aren't making much higher than that.
The new system places more of an emphasis on the bonus to reward strong performance and the salary increases are used to bring you to the correct level for the market and the skills the company is looking for. I got a 28% raise when I got promoted to M, however, my raise included recognition for exceptional achievement. I was in band 3 out of 4 for my previous career level, so I know I wasn't at the bottom end of the scale. I also received a 8% bonus, which was at the high end for my career track and level. Last year I got 4% and 4%, so I'm pretty happy this year.
Were you a recent hire?
Wow time to join a new company!
I am an experienced hire working on critical technology..
Well if most consultants are mid 90's then you are high inthe range.
What are your metrics and where do you rank versus peer group
Often they bring you in high then balance you within you level band - or if you thrive, promotion
@acn5 not sure I completely agree -seems like this is a new banding structure and they are doing a true-up
A7, exactly. I've seen some folks saying they received 45% raises. This cycle will be very good for folks on the low end.
97.2K/ Technology Consulatbt.. I don't think it's higher than My peers
How many years total exp?
I'm sure I was given a base according to the market at the time of my hiring
