Are DC and Chicago tier 1 cities in PwC in terms of salary bands?

Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results. Anyone that interviewed or gotten a job with Meta how did it take from the onsite to get your decision? Since I had to reach out to the recruiter and haven't heard anything since I assume they're interested in another candidate.

Appeared for KPMG interview 45 days back. HR is intentionally delaying offer release. Done with 2nd round of interview in last week of July. My Lwd is in oct first week. She took documents on 23rd Aug and did salary discussion a week later. And giving shitty excuses like waiting for approval. Approver is on leave bla bla. Need help assess an offer from #PwC. Director of M&A IT (DDV - Deliver Deal Value). The offer has base salary (based on cohort - Tier 3 Home City) and sign-up bonus, but does not have the annual bonus structure for Director level at #PwC. HR lady said that they will give you that when you start. I would like that now (written format). She told me verbally the percentages but I do not recall them. Anyone from #PwC has that info in a PDF document?

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

Recent exp hire in consulting and would love some input. Friend introduced me to a poc at a role I’d potentially be interested in, but background check would take 6-12 months. Just got promotion at current firm and feeling content to stay. I’d be interested in the other company in the near future, ie 1-2 years.

If I didn’t directly know the person, I’d interview to see how I do, but I don’t want to waste this person’s time for the time being. What would you do?
