I am new recruiter with about 2 yrs experience within people practice ( learning & development - Employability support - and now recruiting)

I had my second technical interview two weeks ago and I had emailed the recruiter to check for any progress on my application. I just received an email saying they want to talk to me over call. Should I be worried? Given the hiring freeze .. I am a little worked up. I mean, I would surely talk to her soon to know the situation but my anxiety is off the charts. Anyone experience emotional burnout on this job? I’m currently discontent with my income.
(3rd year. Salary=80k and no performance incentive. I brought in $1.4mm AFTER partners claimed over half of fees on my big cases.)
I see CJL offers an incentive+ base but I’m curious about that structure.
Any good or bad firm culture to speak of?
Is it impossible to actually earn a respectable incentive bonus?
Am I going to have some partner come cut me out of any cases where I might actually make a solid fee?

Plaintiffs PI attorneys, how many cases on average are you assigned to at any given time?

Hi everyone - I'm contemplating an offer from a large PI firm. I'm a little more than halfway through completing my 2nd year of practice, and I'm currently at a small firm with a low salary that's just no longer cutting it.

The offer from the large firm is for a pre-suit position, base salary of $100K - is this salary pretty standard for this kind of position?

4th year at a mid size PI firm. Got pulled from litigating MVAs to help this solo we hired start a med Mal/nursing home practice. 1 year in and it looks like I’m two steps backwards in terms of getting paid because we’re a year or more out from a lot of the fees hitting. I respect the solo a lot, he’s a mentor, but I’ve got kids and I gotta get paid. Trying not to burn bridges, but I can’t wait years to get cut in. Advice?

Hi all, new-ish associate here at a Virginia firm - quick question: if a pleadings filing deadline for a GDC case ends up being on a Saturday or Sunday, does that mean that it can actually be filed by that following Monday since the court and clerk's office will be open then?
