Need advice & perspectives: I got a verbal review from my manager saying he couldn’t see me as senior cuz I didn’t follow the design doc format he mandates from all designers. While I have been the only designer who does almost everything from design, UI asset creation, wiring up UI in Unity (I am in mobile gaming).
Also the product I’m on has been in MVP stage, things move extremely fast and design decisions changed constantly. He’s not on my team.
Am I crazy for thinking him a bad manager?

Do people really actively hop to different firms every 2-3 years to solely increase their compensation? I know it’s like a cheat code for higher salary, and everyone on this bowl talks about it, but curious if people actually do this as their career/compensation strategy.
