As an operations manager I manage budgets/billing process for a portfolio of clients within my agency. My role is partially “risk management” and without being able to refer to a specific figure, I KNOW I have saved the company from write-offs and other financial/client risk. Is there anyone who does a similar role that has implemented a way of tracking “dollars saved” or “would-be write-offs”? I’m trying to quantify/apply value to the work I do in plain dollars and cents.

Which apps do you use for counting calories? Doing this is both eye opening and scary... 100 cal for 1 tbsp of Jiff Peanut Butter? Jesus...

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

Been a project manager for linear TV, and being moved into operations to manage digital campaigns. Hundreds of files going to several different channels. How does one track assets along with attaching airing dates, results, etc?? 🫠
