Joined in Oct for SAP functional. Now one manager who interviewed me reached out that there is a training material developer project which will start on 20 nov for Oracle timeline is 2 months only and SAP projects are in pipeline there was one coming but no guarantee if its final and if it has to come it will be in this month because in dec new projects do not onboard. I have worked on oracle in the past but now am fully into SAP. Should I take this project or wait until Jan for SAP project?

I keep starting huge projects or hobbies and being intensely into it for about 10 days/2 weeks, after which I forget about it and the project just lays around my house for months until I get interested in it again or I toss it out/donate it. It was fine when I was living alone but my partner is seriously frustrated with how messy the house gets and how much I spend on supplies for these things. Been a project manager for linear TV, and being moved into operations to manage digital campaigns. Hundreds of files going to several different channels. How does one track assets along with attaching airing dates, results, etc?? 🫠

As an operations manager I manage budgets/billing process for a portfolio of clients within my agency. My role is partially “risk management” and without being able to refer to a specific figure, I KNOW I have saved the company from write-offs and other financial/client risk. Is there anyone who does a similar role that has implemented a way of tracking “dollars saved” or “would-be write-offs”? I’m trying to quantify/apply value to the work I do in plain dollars and cents.
