What do you think of Operations (think run the core of the business) vs. Bizops?

I'm leaning Bizops since it's more similar to consulting and may be a smoother transition, but what's the career path there, if you already enter at a Director level? Would Operations position me better for future roles and complement my consulting exp?

What base salary/ total comp to expect for a Sr PM in Toronto in today’s market?

I was looking at PM roles only that were around $110k, one company approached me with Sr PM (title bump) at $110k. I’m getting scheduled for final interview loop next week with this company and planning to negotiate if an offer is extended from them. I did tell them that I’m at final stage with other companies so they can expect multiple offer situation from me. Advice?

Is front end web dev a lucrative career choice? Currently in the commercial banking industry but don’t enjoy it a ton, enjoy learning basic front end web dev because I like the control and creative aspect of it, was curious if I should just keep it as a hobby and keep a stable banking job or possibly look into trying to prepare to make a switch in a few years. HR pros - I have a question for you. I got disappointing news that I didn’t get either of the roles I applied for. I was shocked because the interviews went really well and my experience was in line, if not on the higher end of requirements. I was told that it was my salary and job title expectation. I’d be ok with that if they hadn’t flown my ass out there to meet with everyone. They knew my salary and position expectations before inviting me to the interview. Should I buy it?

Looking to transfer into a client associate role (unregistered at the moment, but willing to obtain). Currently have ~1.5 YOE in valuation (financial statement analysis, modeling, etc.) I get that those skills could be unrelated to a CSA role, but I think there could be some similarities. (Reserve) Unit Transfer Help

ETS in 6 months. Really want to re-enlist for 4 -6 years. Currently in a MOB, and got promoted out of the unit last year June to another unit, did 1-year E5 work during the mob. Finishing up MOB in Nov and got accepted into a cyber unit in which I can progress my career, and want to reenlist for 6 years.


However, the unit I got promoted to insist me to go to them and I'm ETS in 6 months.

So I accepted an offer back in mid March but I didn’t negotiate it up and now I’m regretting it, because apparently you’re supposed to. I got a much higher salary than expected and a sign on bonus, and it’s been a while since I accepted the offer, and the start date is later this year…. Is it too late to ask for a bit more though? If not, how do I go about it?
