At what point in the interview process should I let the interviewer know that I have a pre planned vacation coming up in May for two weeks? I want to drop this information in a way that won't hurt my chances of getting the job.

What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). I'm making decorated sugar cookies but kind of drawing a blank when it comes to savory dishes. Bonus points if you have any adult holiday themed games or fun drinks to suggest! It's off school property and there will be a bar (thank god), for context.

Do McK/BCG usually send rejection emails after you apply? Or do you just get ghosted without an interview invite?

Is it a norm to send a thank you note through your recruiter? I had an iffy interview, and wondering if I bother sending a thank you note. It was very clear that they were trying to do a stress interview so I feel weird saying the usual nice things.

It's appalling how bad new associate excel/ppt skills are. There needs to be a way of judging 'readiness' during the interview process.
