Hmm what is a stress interview? I went through a similar experience as well. I never really send any thank you notes tbh. I feel like it makes me seem like a rookie. You had to take time out of your day as well. Besides a thank you note does not make or break the offer so what’s even the point. If it does that’s kinda petty and I wouldn’t want to work for that place anyways.
I think thank you notes are courteous. However, it’s hit or miss on it they’ll ever get to us as the interviewers.
If I do get it from the candidate, it won’t change my ultimate decision, but I do think it shows kind character/caring, which ultimately falls under Googleyness.
I’m not sure what a stress interview is.
