Awhile back I went up to a sales manager to ask what do they look for when hiring a sales person. Before I even got to finishing my question, I was told, by the sales manager to apply for a current sales position that was open at my site. So, I said okay. Got called by the recruiter to schedule a phone interview, went back to the sales manager and was told that I could not have the job due to lack of experience. I’ve been working at this job for 10 years. What was the point of the interview?
