I’m wondering if they’ve actually won any new business, or just hoping to poach it from the agencies they’ve acquired.
Their leadership’s skills (or lack therof) can have some ripple effects on the rest of the industry.
My theory, Omnicom insisted BBDO quickly come up with a positioning statement for merger optics. BIG was the result of that rush.

I think we are overly critical of creative ideas and agencies in this industry and are hard on ourselves.
That said and especially factoring in AI and the shrinking budget of a modern CMO, do big things is some of the worst positioning I’ve seen from a major holding company in years.
And they’re coming in 5 days a week 😬
