I have a joke about H1Bs, but it is RFEd
Anyone at EY notified about H1B results?
I’m about to start an internship at IBM for UX Research. I’m super excited about it, and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the design culture there or how the company is for designers? So far online I’ve only heard about the company from consultants or software engineers. For more reference I’ll be working in Austin.
I want this guy to write my resignation letter lol

McKinsey & Company Hi everyone. Hope all is well.
Recently took the McKinsey & Company game (not sure if I have an interview yet but preparing nonetheless). It’s an entry level business analyst position and an entry level digital position and was wondering if anyone wanted to case prep with me. I’m willing to work on anyones time zone. (I’m located in Sydney, Australia).

It’s just sense checking the data set variance to see if there are any crazy outliers and if the numbers you are seeing pass the common sense test. If you plug data into you model and the results come out looking all sorts of crazy, you diagnose what’s causing that. Sometimes the source is a bad dataset.
Yeah sounds like feedback for the sake of feedback tbh
Well this is one of the first step you’d do upon checking the data. general stats on the underlying data to sense if it may have issues (missing, outliers seems wrong). Seems you may think superfluous but if later one there is smth weird in the model outputs and it comes back to the input data then it’s a real bad look to only find out then (incl having to go back to clients )
