I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!

He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

If you find an opportunity that pays well and you’re upfront about childcare needs, when you need to go, compromise on coming in or picking up work later at night, I don’t see why it can’t work out. You deserve this — and if TBWA isn’t seeing it (and they rarely do) it’s time for you to make a move.
Yes! If there is one thing we can take away from this horrible pandemic experience is that we cannot go back to the way things used to be, including making room for our needs as humans and people with families. For example, my husband takes the baby to daycare in the morning and I pick him up. I made my boss and full team aware that from 5 - 6 I am on pickup duty and I can’t do meetings or answer emails/chats until I get back. There hasn’t been an issue yet, and I don’t anticipate it. It’s all about communication! You’ve got this. Good luck!
