Honestly I’ve not been too impressed with any over the years. Online reviews might be your best bet. If looking for a team activity, I’m sure we can help you brainstorm some better ideas if you want!
Don’t know about escape rooms but the 45 sure is scary 😂
It's really just an event with coworkers and friends, not so much team bonding - but I appreciate your help!
Right on. I think there is actually some haunted house things going on in Houston. What part of town is central for y’all? Into sports, bars, night time or daytime stuff?
Looking at midtown area for everyone. Probably grab a few drinks beforehand? But planning for evening time
For chill spots, Woosters and Holman have good cocktails food and vibes. Dog House is chill dive with darts and pool tables. Axlerad and Truck Yard are little east but not bad and good for extended chilling too - truck yard has a little bit for everyone often with live music. Rockets tickets are dirt cheap so if there is that option for random fun. If you make your way up to downtown you can bar hop around main and there are a few foodhalls to check out. Also consider hopping around Montrose down Westheimer - can start with some strong Margs and fajitas at el Tiempo - which is basically a fun time in itself. Same in EaDo for hopping or north west heights by bungalow and Wicklow. I honestly just kinda think escape rooms are kinda dull. If for Halloween, weekend in sure the bar scene will be pretty great with folks dressed up. When I lived in montrose there was always a festival they shut the streets down for. Can always check out house of blues downtown or other random concerts. There are also a few bar arcade type of places but I forget their name. Social beer garden was near the one time I went there. Ping pong, darts, etc. Also can check out miller outdoor amphitheater for free shows. Maybe there is some trivia at some spots too which is fun and social for mixed groups. If into golf, check out Loft18 in sawyer yards. Ik that was a little all over the place but there are options all short Ubers from each other.
The Escape Game Houston in Galleria is pretty fun. I’ve only tried the special ops one. It’s not the hardest escape room I’ve done but my friends and I like it cause it’s multiple rooms. Plus the tasks were pretty varied; it’s not all lock puzzles
