They have a great fireworks show you can see Centennial Park in Coronado and I remember you can see the Navy SEALS do a parachute jump during the day
OP, Coronado sounds like an awesome place to spend the 4th. You could spend at least 4hrs there eating food, shopping, surfing, hanging at the beach.
I've always loved La Jolla Cove. It's pretty casual but a great place to spend the day at the beach and have a picnic with the family
Is there enough to do to spend 8 hours there? Or would you recommend a different beach? Also how crowded does it get?
Visiting from out of town so appreciate the help!
If I'm not mistaken they have a firework show for the public. I think that it's free
Which beach do you recommend if you’re planning on spending the entire day?
Mission Beach is fun on the 4th, but it gets crowded, so either Uber there or plan to get there early.
