Going through a closeout. 50-50 profit share allocation, but my business partner has been using the venture money at their personal piggy bank (hence the breakup). My accountants say because we agreed to 50-50 shares, the leftover money has to be divided equally.

They spent $100k in the last month on random "work stuff" but bought a new car, etc. Now I have to pay for it with less equity return!

Just wanted to rant, I'll probably never go into a partnership again.

I have about $750K total investments and very close to $2M net worth, but realize that I am behind on investments if I want to do FIRE. I was focused on paying off huge chunks of my mortgage and managed to whittle it down to $75K left. Would you suggest I go ahead and pay that off this year? I have a LOT of credit card debt. It has just grown over time and I can’t find my way out. I’m considering debt consolidation, specifically a company called National Debt Relief which seems legit but I’m just so hesitant because I’m scared to make my situation worse.
