Hey there! Does anyone have leads or advice for pursuing remote internship or employment opportunities in IT while in college? For reference, I am beginning my sophomore year in college with 3 majors within CSCI and am working on attaining my A+ certificate then my Network+. I was under the assumption that Nagarro is offering permanent work from home opportunity. During HR discussion when I asked about it, the HR said it is specific to projects and if the client is fine with your wfh you can take it. What's the scenario guys?

What software companies have offices (HQ or remote offices) in San Diego area?

All are saying EY Pune Kalyani Office is very small and like only 140 capacity. Mostly everyone is getting Kalyani Nagar in Offer, there are already 170+ people in this group hopefully they will give wfh or open New office

People who are happy that the office is become WFH should reconsider. You stop building meaningful relantionships at home and things just become transactional

Should a remote job’s salary be based on where I live or the company? For instance, I’m interviewing with a SF company for a role that has the ability to be remote (I live in portland). They gave me the “portland range” when talking about salary. What if I later on decide I no longer went to be remote but come into the office and be in SF area. What’s the typical approach with salary for jobs that can be remote?

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
