I’m currently in the process of accepting a promotion and have a say on the title. I’m moving up from an Enterprise Account Executive/Manager to a KEY Account Executive/Manager. Which one do you think pulls more weight and is more desired/interchangeable in the world of sales and my future career? (Yes I know they’re practically the same thing but I’m a very technical person and title means a lot to me lol)

Would you guys consider leaving for a role that offers a much higher base salary but no opportunities to advance? Got an offer that’s an 85% raise adjusted for cost of living. The work seems interesting and I like the company but it’s a smaller office so I basically couldn’t get promoted unless my boss retires or quits.

Recent PhD in life science looking to get into biotech VC. Can’t find much information on applying for these roles. I’ve heard that it’s not uncommon to go in without business/finance experience, but is it actually rare?

Been seeing a guy for a few months now and I can’t stop myself from getting in my head. I’ve never been in a solid relationship before like this and I’m afraid I’m going to mess it up. We’re together most nights and some nights I need a night off or some space, but when I don’t hear from him I get paranoid that I did something.
I don’t know how to just let things be and feel we’re as good as I know we are.

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

Have an offer for both, the B4 tax tech offer is higher. Interested in the more technical / software aspect of tax tech. Finance Business Partner is very similar to FP&A.
