How's the company doing, is it profitable? Bit skeptical about the recent layoffs at PayPal.

TC seems to be a lowball, but that's their budget, no scope of negotiation.

I was a sealth layoff victim in early July courtesy of an AmLaw 150 firm. I have until mid September to find a new gig. I'm interviewing with AmLaw 100 firms. Do I tell them what happened? Or play it off? What if I run out of time during the interview/hiring process? Mid level M&A.

Why are we not hearing layoffs from other product orgs (Siemens, Amadeus, Wells Fargo, Attlassian, Nvidea, SAP, VMWARE etc) than FAANG's and ofcourse Microsoft.

Hello Everyone, I need your suggestions. I worked as a Software Tester for 1.3 yrs during the beginning of my career 2006 till 2007. I had moved into ITSD because of some family issues that made me move to my hometown. I have about 10yrs experience in leading and Managing SD teams and handling Change Management, problem Management, doing quality control etc. I wish to change to Testing now. Is that a possibility? I find roads getting closed and I don't want to go into Ops management.

I’m currently in operations management with 7YOE, 4 of those at a managerial role. Love the work but the lack of work/life balance and lack of growth opportunity in the next couple of years is pushing me to look elsewhere. Does anyone have suggestions for a next career challenge?
