For those who want some lighter reading on Marx, I can recommend this. Each chapter starts with a standard anti-Marx argument and then gives the rebuttal. The left can sometimes be a bit “I can’t believe you disagree, I won’t even engage’ but this means we are often not well rehearsed to oppose the other side of the argument.

It's pretty weird to see how terrified people in the US get about the "threat to society" that socialism poses while ignoring the fascism that is *already here*.

I know you don't want another USSR, neither do I. I also don't want another Nazi Germany, so stop voting fascists into our government. The closest we have to socialists in Congress are people like Bernie, who's not starting a revolution. Meanwhile almost all of the R's in the Senate are against a bill that would prevent another coup.

When an organization is not adequately staffed, be sure increase the number of meetings to address how to allocate people. Forcing negotiations at multiple org levels around the same decisions will ensure everyone is totally aligned.

This accomplishes three things:
1) Everyone is mad at each other since they’re competing for people
2) They’re confused and not able to pay attention to the root issue of chronic under staffing
3) They’re distracted from blaming mgmt for the root cause.

Set very low expectations for raises and bonuses this year. START NOW. No firm can beat what the market is paying for talent, so under promise with low expectations. That way people will feel grateful when they get a 2% COLA in a few months.
