I joined first as an android developer and after 1 year I became SDE-1 and now it's been 1 year more and I have given my resign and now serving notice period. I don't yet have been able to get new opportunity somewhere else but I was sure to leave the current company due to unstable work life balance and heavy work load, so how should I further find a new company that has good work life balance and higher salary. My CTC is 13.2lpa

I am already holding an offer letter with one company. Can I ask for 40% hike on it to another company who wants me to join them?

Is it a decent ask? Or will they increase just 50k-1L to make their offer a bit better than what I have? Please suggest.
